Door Supervision
SIA-licensed door supervisors for pubs, clubs, bars, and licensed venues — ID checks, age verification, conflict management, and incident response.
What door supervision covers
Door supervision is the licensed security discipline of managing entry to pubs, bars, clubs, late-night licensed venues, and ticketed events. It covers ID checks, age verification, capacity management, refusal of entry, conflict management on the premises, and the response work of dealing with intoxicated or aggressive customers without disrupting the experience for everyone else.
We Secure Services provides SIA-licensed door supervisors to licensed venues across the UK — independent pubs and bars, nightclubs, late-night entertainment venues, and ticketed events. Every supervisor holds a current SIA door supervisor licence (which requires more training than a standard security officer licence) and is trained specifically in conflict management, Challenge 25 procedures, and the Licensing Act 2003.
Our door supervisors are the face of your venue to anyone arriving after dark. They set the tone of the door, protect the licence, and handle the customer interactions that can make or break a night. We invest in the training, supervision, and uniform standards that ensure our officers represent your venue at the level you'd represent it yourself.

Frequently asked questions
The SIA Door Supervisor (DS) licence is a separate, higher-tier qualification than the SIA Security Guard (SG) licence. Door supervisors complete additional training in conflict management, drugs awareness, and physical intervention. UK licensing law requires door supervisors specifically — not just any security officer — for licensed premises with regulated entertainment.
